岩茶にも似た風味が、先人達への想いをつのらせる
From the ancient times in Totsukawa-mura, Yoshino-gun, Nara, people harvests a sprout from the tea planted in the surroundings of a house, or rice field to drink for theirselves, this growing method was inherited and carried out to the business model.
This growing method is seen in near place by the Kumano area, Wakayama.
Leaf is gathered and roasted by an iron pot, knead on a straw mat, dried by the sun, and roasts again, before drinking.
The tea is much roasted than Tenpiboshicha, usually made by the people of the mountains in Kii Peninsula such as Totsukawa. As a result, it is easy to drink and also impressive.
The flavor is also similar to Chinese “Iwacha” which increases the thought to ancestors.奈良県吉野郡十津川村で昔から、家の周りや田んぼの周りに植えたお茶の木から新芽を収穫し、自分たちで飲む用に手作りしてきた自家用のお茶作りを継承したもの。
同様のお茶作りは地続きで和歌山の熊野地域にもみられます。
お茶を摘んで釜で炒り、筵の上で揉んで、天日で乾燥させ、飲む前にまた炒ります。
従来の十津川などの紀伊半島の山々の民の天日干し茶より炒りを深くし、印象に残りつつも飲みやすい仕上がりになってい ます。
中国の岩茶にも似た風味が、先人達への想いをつのらせます。
